FORUM ANNOUNCES “FORUM OR AGAINST’EM” VIDEO PROJECT

Forum Snowboards is proud to announce “Forum or Against’em”, a high-definition, full-color film starring the influential members of the Forum team.

Set to release in Fall 2008, Forum or Against’em will contain a compelling mixture of video imagery, documenting remarkable backcountry adventures, progressive urban exploits, and the notable times spent in-between.

Forum or Against'em will be Forum's fifth team-video release, upholding the progression of an acknowledged movie-making process that has made legacy releases so noteworthy – including The Resistance, True Life, Video Gangs, and That.

Forum or Against’em will feature the riding of Peter Line, Joni Malmi, Eddie Wall, John Jackson, Pat Moore, Jake Blauvelt, Stevie Bell, Travis Kennedy, Jake Welch, Nic Sauve, and Daniel Ek with production and editing by Jeremy Pettit, Nathan Yant, Kurt Heine, and Mike Bishop.

JAKE WELCH UPDATE

Since Jake Welch is so fond of the crew at Forum (and vice versa), he decided to take a quick flight out from Salt Lake City to provide some feedback on various things. Here he is with Dave, the Forum Board Designer, providing some thoughts on women’s jib board. Actually, this photo is nothing more than testing out our new blog capabilities.

THE LAUNCH

Snowboarder Magazine took their tried-and-true Superpark formula and created an atmosphere where the youngest generation of up-and-coming riders could prove themselves.

Entitled The Launch, it was held at Northstar-at-Tahoe and featured For'ams Greg Bretz, Trevor Jacob, along with Northwest Foregional Rider Austen Sweetin. Check out the pics and/or this link that brings you to the Day 3 story on the Snowboarder site.

HEINE SNAPSHOTS

Forum team filmer, Kurt Heine, put down the video camera to check-in with a few shots of the Forum Team. But don't expect too much, as it's just a set of posing and posing and posing some more. With that noted, here are the shots.

ASKING JAKE

Jake Blauvelt has been on a tear in the Pacific Northwest backcountry - opting to collect knee-deep memories, rather than podium trophies. His prowess and natural board control is a thing of inherent beauty. Read some words (as asked by Forum correspondent Joel Muzzey) right here.
